Organizations with business reasons for needing the UPS brand artwork can secure its non-exclusive use. The Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com serves customers, sponsored organizations, and conference organizers. If you are a journalist, please visit the UPS Pressroom pressroom.ups.com. If you are a UPS vendor, please contact your UPS representative for assistance.
- How do I get permission to use the UPS brand artwork?

In order to secure permission to use UPS brand artwork, please follow these steps:
- Complete Step 1 of the Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com to download design guidelines and watermarked low-resolution versions of the available brand artwork.
- Using the low-resolution UPS brand artwork, prepare your design layout(s) showing how the UPS brand artwork will be featured within your material.
- Return to the Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com to complete Step 2 and submit your layout(s) for approval.
Following UPS approval of the layout(s), and your acceptance of the required trademark licensing agreement, the high-resolution file(s) will be provided.
- How do I get permission to use UPS-branded photos?

Customers can choose from a pre-selected set of branded photography. To access the photos and get permission to use them, please follow these steps:
- Complete Step 1 of the Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com to download design guidelines and watermarked low-resolution versions of the available photos.
- Using the low-resolution UPS photos, prepare a design layout(s) showing how the UPS photo will be featured within your material.
- Return to the Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com to complete Step 2 and submit your layout(s) for approval.
Following UPS approval of the layout(s), and your acceptance of the required trademark licensing agreement, the high-resolution file(s) will be provided.
- What branded material is available for customers?

UPS offers the “We Ship Via UPS” icon and a pre-selected set of branded photography to our customers. To download watermarked low-resolution versions and design guidelines, please complete Step 1 of the Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com.
- What branded material is available to sponsored organizations and conference organizers?

UPS offers its brandmark (logo) for sponsored organizations and conference organizers to recognize UPS within event materials. Additionally, the “Sponsored by UPS” icon is available for use when UPS is the sole sponsor of an item or event. To download watermarked low-resolution versions and design guidelines, please visit Step 1 of the Brand Requests section of www.upsbrandexchange.com.
- How long will it take to receive a response to my brand request?

You will receive a response within 2-3 business days.
- When would a request be denied?

A request may be denied for one of the following reasons:
- The requested use does not comply with the UPS brand guidelines.
- The request seeks an endorsement from UPS (such as listing UPS as a “satisfied customer” within communication materials).
- The request does not reflect positively on UPS.
- What should I do if my request is denied?

You can modify your design to meet UPS brand guidelines, then resubmit your request documents to UPS.
- What is the correct way to use UPS branded artwork?

The correct use of UPS branded artwork is outlined in the brand guidelines document, available as a PDF download in Step 1 of the Brand Request section of www.upsbrandexchange.com. This downloadable file also includes the watermarked low-resolution artwork that you'll need to create your layout(s).
- What if I make changes to my request after I receive approval?

If your copy and/or layout changes at any time, such as for redesign or reprinting, you must resubmit the design for review and approval.
- Why was my request to register as a Brand Communicator denied?

Brand Communicator registration is limited to two groups: UPS employees with direct responsibility for developing branded materials, and the creative agencies hired by these UPS employees.

- What UPS branded material is available for publishers?

Publishers' requests for permission to include UPS branded material are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Whenever possible, publishers' submitted layouts should show the requested UPS branded material in context to the related text. Please note that requests involving UPS print advertisements require additional processing time.
